The Chamber is proud to host a variety of quality events that focus on providing networking opportunities and professional development to our member businesses.
We have a number of Signature Events that are held throughout the year to celebrate our members and offer a chance to gather for great food, fun, and fellowship, in addition to various other events that provide consistent networking and business development opportunities.

The annual banquet is the premier event on the Chamber calendar. This is an ideal networking opportunity with a substantial, sophisticated audience who appreciate your commitment to our community. The event’s focus is to highlight the previous year and set the stage for the coming year. In addition, the Chamber will present their awards including the Jefferson Countian of the Year, Pinnacle Award for Tourism and Business & Industry, Small Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and the IMPACT Award for Non-Profit. Held at the Stokely Memorial Cafeteria on the campus of Carson-Newman University, this event is the most prestigious of all events throughout the year.
Members are also invited to join in the pre-party VIP reception featuring gourmet hors d’oeuvres and refreshments that are not available for the remainder of the evening.
The golf classic is a four-person, best-ball scramble tournament format with well over 100 participants each year from various businesses and industry from Jefferson County and surrounding areas. The tournament alternates annually between Patriot Hills Golf Club, Dandridge Golf & Country Club and Lost Creek Golf Club. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10th & 15th as well as for Most Accurate Drive, Closest-to-the-Pin and Hole-in-One.
A fun and delicious evening for the taste buds. The Sampler is a food tasting even that highlights our local cuisine. Our most popular event of the year, the Sampler is open to the public and both member and non-member. This is a county-wide event designed to showcase the best restaurants, bakeries and caterers that Jefferson County had to offer.
Come mix and mingle with young professionals, vendors and the “cool crowd” while listening to music from hometown fan-favorite, GRITS from Dumplin Valley. Try as many samples as you like and if you don’t have any room left, you are always welcome to take a box home.
This is the Chamber’s annual, “Thank You” to our member businesses. Historically held at the Hampton Inn in Dandrige, Christmas Cheer is a free networking event that allows members to come and mix, mingle and jingle to celebrate the Christmas season. A perfect opportunity to enjoy holiday music, eat some great food and share in the magic of the holiday season.
This highly successful breakfast event attracts a diverse group of over 50 business professionals and community leaders. Held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Jefferson City Public Library, this event features a presenting sponsor presentation, a sit-down breakfast, member announcements and networking.
Held quarterly, this event allows members, new and seasoned alike, to gather to learn more about what the Chamber does and how to get the most out of membership. Coffee is provided and members are encouraged to mix, mingle and network with other new Chamber members. This is a great opportunity to bring business cards and any other materials for distribution at the Chamber office!
A ribbon cutting is an important part of the overall marketing and advertising plan for any new business. This is a great way to kick off a grand opening or relocation of a business. Chamber staff members assist the business owner to plan and execute the event. Chamber representatives and community leaders gather to offer congratulatory remarks and take a photo for publication in various Chamber and community advertising forums.
A Business-After-Hours (BAH) event is a casual networking event held throughout the year that attract a host of business professionals and community leaders. They feature refreshments and light appetizers and are traditionally held from 5-7 p.m. at the sponsoring business’s location.

Our First Annual Farm to Table Event was held at Glenmore Mansion in July, 2018. Local farms donated food and a local chef created a unique meal. Local wine, live music and perfect weather made this event spectacular. Look for our next Farm to Table event in Summer 2019. Promote your brand and align with our mission to benefit our local communities by supporting our local farmers.
